L'AOC Margaux est la seule appellation courante du Haut-Médoc qui porte le nom de Château Margaux. Il s'étend sur 1400 hectares dans le sud du Médoc. C'est l'un des bassins de production les plus prestigieux du Médoc et l'un des plus importants. Margaux est une sorte de vin « exquis », qui se maintient et évolue tout au long de son cycle de vie. Du fait de sa proximité avec la Garonne, Margaux est plus résistant au gel d'avril 2017. Il offre une très bonne acidité et devrait donner à ce vin 2017 un vin avec un grand potentiel de garde. L'Alter Ego 2017 de Palmer est caressant, subtil et aromatique.

Description

The AOC Margaux is the only common appellation in the Haut-Médoc that bears the name Château Margaux. It covers 1400 hectares in the south of the Médoc. It is one of the most prestigious production areas of the Médoc and one of the most important. Margaux is a kind of "exquisite" wine, which maintains and evolves throughout its life cycle. Because of its proximity to the Garonne River, Margaux is more resistant to the April 2017 frost. It offers very good acidity and should give this 2017 a wine with great ageing potential. Palmer's 2017 Alter Ego is caressing, subtle and aromatic.
